Slowly but surely...

Hi everyone,

I hope your new year is off to a great start. As some of you may remember, I took a hiatus back in September of last year to figure out "what's next" for me in my personal life and my blog. There was one big development that keeps me from posting on a regular basis.

Hubby and I are expecting our 2nd child. I have a long way to go but this pregnancy is a bit different from the first. Hopefully, by the end of this month, I will be over the morning sickness. I spend most of my time now sleeping or trying to get comfortable. In other words, I haven't completed reading a book in two weeks now. I'm trying to get a few chapters in a day so that I can hurry up and get some reviews posted but we'll see how it goes. I don't think I'll have anything up for this week but maybe next week.

I can say one thing - I am totally enjoying this time but I'm hopeful that in a few months, I'll be able to post more.

That's all for now...

I'm glad you're ok. my sister's pregnant for second time and I'm so happy. She'll have the couple of kids. and you? It's said that boys are quieter than girls...

Congratulations! And, I hope you can find a way to get more comfortable. It's rough, but it's only temporary.

And the thing about boys being quieter than girls is hooey. I have two boys, and the first one was so quiet I worried about him all the time (and he is STILL a very quiet child), and my second used my uterus as a built-in treadmill for five months (and he STILL moves and jiggles constantly). At least I had some insight into their personalities by the time they were born.

Hope you get through this time of your pregnancy. Don't worry if you can't post for awhile. Feeling better, enjoying your family, and just enjoying reading are more important. But looking forward when you get back to speed here.

Thanks guys! My first was a girl and she was perfect. No morning sickness or anything. This one is different and I'm going to cross my fingers that it's a boy or our house will be ruled by girls. Poor Hubby! LOL.
