2012 Debut Author Challenge List

Once again Kristi @ The Story Siren  (Thank You) is hosting a 2012 Author Debut Challenge. This will be my 3rd challenge. I'm looking forward to another great year of books. There are so many that I want to read.

Here's more information on the challenge directly from The Story Siren:

  • The objective of the DAC is to read at least twelve novels from Young Adult or Middle Grade Authors. While twelve is the minimum there is no maximum limit! I encourage readers who can read more than twelve to do so!
  • Anyone can join. You don't have to be a blogger, and you don't have to live in the United States.
  • You do not have to have an blog written in English to participate.
  • You can join at anytime. Deadline to join is May 31, 2012. The challenge runs from January 1, 2012 - January 31, 2013.
If you would like to sign up, head over to The Story Siren for more info.

  1. Great list. I use Kristi's list to find debut authors to interview for my blog and I try to interview at least 12 (more last year) debut authors a year. I'll be spotlighting Above and Struck from your list.

  2. Hey Tina! Your blog looks great! I will defenitely try your debut author challenge, sounds fun! I sent you something from goodreads about visiting my blog at if you were interested reading about my book I will hopefully put out on eBooks come spring time. Keep up the great blogging!

  3. This is an awesome list I'm going to bookmark because I want to read most of these books too!

I'm sure you know that as debut writers our hearts get all big and squishy each time we see our baby, er, book on someone's 2012 to-read list :)

Thank you for including VENOM on a list with so many sure-to-be phenomenal books.

    Happy New Year!

I want to hear from you, I promise I won't bite!
